Terry socks have extra loops of yarn knitted into the inside, forming a soft pile against the foot. They cushion more underfoot, hold more sweat before they feel damp, and are warmer on a cold floor. They're bulkier than the regular knit, so they dry more slowly and sit more tightly in a closed shoe.

Good for: Pilates, barre and yoga, dance and mobility drills, prenatal and postnatal training, lounging at home.

Care

• Machine wash at 30°C, inside out
• Do not bleach
• Do not tumble dry
• Do not iron
• Do not dry clean

Heat is what ends a grip sock. Tumble drying and ironing soften the silicone and lift it off the sole, so the grip fails long before the knit does. Washing inside out keeps the silicone off the drum and protects the surface detail.
